💡 You have an idea for a travel blog or business but don’t know where to start, and you know that support and feedback from other solo female travelers would be a game changer in progressing it forward
After my first solo trip, I was totally captivated by solo travel.
At the same time, I found myself feeling disconnected from people around me, missing my travels so much, and joining travel groups but not getting the value of out them that I was hoping for.
I wanted to talk with like-minded solo travel girls about being confident enough to solo travel, to share that I was thinking of starting a travel business, and to hear about other solo traveling women's experiences so I could better plan my upcoming travels.
🤔 All the while wondering if anyone else felt the way I did.
Solo travel empowered me to take the leap and pursue that career in travel, and as I grew The Lone Travel Girl, I started meeting those badass solo traveling women from around the world who were feeling the same was I was.
☀️ And that's why Solo Travel Corner was created.
Solo Travel Corner is a private virtual meetup community with solo traveling women from all over the world
It's the place you will find your tribe of like-minded solo traveling women

"...I was desperate to find a community of women that loved travel as much as I did. Not only did I find like-minded travelers, but I found a way to feel connected while social distancing and ways to decompress during all of life's craziness through incredible sessions like yoga and guided meditation + journaling. I've never had a bad or even sub-par experience when I've been with the Lone Travel Girl squad!"

"I'm very new to solo travel and really wanted to connect with likeminded women who I could learn from. Lone Travel Girl's virtual chats have done just that. I have loved meeting new people and sharing our enthusiasm for travel. It's been a very rewarding experience and I feel grateful to be part of such a wonderful community."
Emily, United Kingdom
Being able to communicate and build relationships with travellers across the world is a huge appeal for me. They can provide advice on their home country, which I find a refreshing change to reading blogs and books! It’s so inspirational speaking to fellow women about experiences relating to travel. We all have a common interests and Callie is helping build up this community, something that I am so proud to be involved in!"
KIRSTEN, United Kingdom
Sessions will be scheduled according to number of members, availability, and time zones. The number of meetups will increase as the community grows. We are currently running:
- 2 solo travel topic chats / week
- 1 hot seat per week
- 1 book club meetup every 5-6 weeks
- 2 solo travel destination series sessions / month
All members will be polled on their timezone and typical availability to make sure we have enough sessions that cover your timezone.
All sessions that are not open forum discussions (such as Q&A chats on destinations and group activities) will be recorded and made available to you if you cannot join live.
You certainly do not have to be traveling solo right now to be a part of this community!
Much of the education and discussions in the community will have an emphasis on solo travel.
But whether you're a full-time solo traveler, someone who has gone on one solo trip and loved it, or plan to one day start solo traveling... Please consider joining!
That love for or want to solo travel is a special bond that ties us to one another. We are women who are living a bit “different” than society expects, and that is what is bringing us together in this space.
You can absolutely still join!
You will have access to all virtual meetups via our shared calendar and I will share updates from our Facebook page via email. However, I’d suggest making a basic account just to use for the group if you want to interact with other members regularly!

Hi! 👋🏼 I'm Callie, founder of The Lone Travel Girl.
The story of The Lone Travel Girl began when I quit my corporate job in 2017 and took my first solo trip across Europe and Asia.
During that time, I realized there was a whole world of women out there traveling solo. Silly me, I really had no idea.
I became familiar with and inspired by this fantastic community. I found there were tons of travel pages sharing dreamy destinations on social media, bloggers talking about their solo travels, and platforms where travelers shared their tips and itineraries.
📖 Where are the people sharing the STORIES behind solo female travelers' photos?
🎉 Who is building these women up and celebrating their solo travels?
👭 Where is the community creating strong relationships between these women?
👚 And lastly - who is creating items that shows off solo female travelers' pride for solo travel?
The truth was, nothing like this existed! And I decided to change that. 💪
My mission is to celebrate, educate, and connect all types of solo female travelers.
Whether you travel internationally full-time and work as a digital nomad, or you’re a stay-at-home mom who sometimes takes solo weekend trips… you should feel proud of your solo travel accomplishments and have a place to feel celebrated.
